Apartment Complex | Xanthi

SAVOPOULOS Shop Fitting recently completed a demanding and highly creative project in Xanthi, involving the complete furnishing of a modern student housing complex. The project was designed and implemented entirely custom, tailored to the needs, dimensions, and aesthetic style of each apartment in collaboration with Vertical Engineering.

The challenge was to create durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing furniture that combines the warmth of wood with the modern character of metal – a characteristic that is a hallmark of our philosophy in custom fabrication.

Custom Constructions

Each piece of furniture was designed to the dimensions of the respective space, prioritizing practicality, long-term durability, and aesthetic coherence.

The project includes:

• Kitchens made of melamine and metal elements, with careful ergonomics and high resistance to use.

• Custom-made wardrobes, designed to fully utilize every inch of space, combining open and closed storage units.

• Dividers with slats in a natural oak shade, functioning as a visual and functional element, providing a sense of discreet privacy.

• TV furniture, desks, shelving units, and drawer units, designed with a common design language to maintain a unified aesthetic throughout the complex.

Each piece is a product of custom fabrication, designed entirely by the SAVOPOULOS Shop Fitting team, both in terms of design and construction implementation, utilizing metal bases, powder coating details, and high-quality melamines.

Materials & Color Combinations

For this particular study, we chose oak melamines in natural tones, which were combined with monochromatic surfaces in distinctive shades:

• Cypress Green, for naturalness and serenity,

• Navy Blue, for intensity and depth,

• Copper Orange, for vibrancy and modern contrast,

• Anthracite, for stability and industrial elegance.

The combination of these colors with the natural oak finish created a modern, welcoming, and youthful result, ideal for a student environment.

Our intention was to create spaces that inspire creativity, concentration, and comfort – essential characteristics for every student. The combination of earthy wood tones with vibrant, yet carefully selected colors creates a result that is warm, yet modern, reflecting the new generation of students and their lifestyle.
